booooooournss? wats that?

The supra is a definite project but it runs and drives and has 99% no rust so I'm happy. Its a 88' 5-speed white hardtop n/a. Its got dents and stuff in panels that can be replaced (drivers door, both front fenders) but no dents in the rear quarters or rear. It's gonna need a radiator soon and I need to buy new tires for it. Gonna need a new clutch sometime in the next couple months maybe. Clean title. I got it for $850 so I'm fine with those little problems it has.

!!!! Loki!

Wait till you see this supra after I dump the rest of the money from the Heep in it...

Although I can't decide what to do with it because I came up with like 3 plans:

1. 1jz front clip (no body panels fixed, stock ride height, etc etc, fast)

2. Clean up the body: JDM Tails, Front lip, bodywork, paint (Still n/a, stock ride height until i can get springs, looks awesome.)

3. Suspension and wheel: Coilovers, maybe get a new door, and some type of sick wheels.(Still gonna have dents on the fenders, pre-89 tails, probably not color matched drivers door, still n/a)

Nah I would already need to save up more money for one as it is.

I'm leaning towards 2 for now then I see a GTE in its future... Heres the parts list I think I'm gunning for:aigo: :

  • H&R Springs
  • JDM Tails
  • Radiator
  • Seat Covers to cover the cracked leather seats
  • 15mm Wheel Spacers (For the sawblades! woot +23 offset blades!)
  • Tires all around
  • Front Fenders(White?)
  • Doors(White?)
  • Hatch Seal
  • Pre-89 Front lip
  • Zaino the car or get it buffed

Loki- I was looking into NA-T but it doesnt seem that cheap once you add up all the stuff required...

Seems like finding a BHG 7mgte, throwing a MHG and ARP studs on it, and putting it in would be cheaper maybe.

J3pz - I'll consider it. I gotta get it inspected and shit first and foremost. Then replace radiator and tires regardless of what I do. Then we'll go from there.

The grand cherokee doesnt count, its still a grocery wagon no matter how much its lifted ; p

I want a Grand Cherokee with the drivetrain out of my truck in it, that would be sick. Wheeling in style, and comfort.

I dont think I could have a nice leather style interior for an offroad truck. The first time digging out and getting back in covered in dirt/mud/rain/snow/cactus needles/etc would ruin the interior ha.

For me a nice luxury interior isnt needed for offroadin, if its your thing by all means enjoy it ;)
