My friend just picked up a 90' supra and 87' supra shell, the 87 is insanely clean, while the 90 is lacking in the visual department. He has decided to go with a 2jzgte swap into the cleaner 87 shell. The motor, trans, and harness/ecu are missing from both shells. Whats your guys' opinion on what he should do? We can source the motor from an importer and get the harnoess/ecu for the 2jz. But should he try to find a 7m harness aswell so he can send the harnesses off to phoenixtuning (dr tweak). Just wondering since neither of the cars have an original 7m harness. Fundying is not really an issue as my friend is very commited to having the car of his dreams.

If you are getting a harness from Dr.Tweak you don't need a core harness but it will cost you an extra $300. Or you can buy a used harness for around $300..
Really just comparing apples to apples here.
