I come from a land down under
3bond 1207b, also comes as HondaBond, Yamabond, Suzibond and is the RTV of choice of a lot of manufacturers.

Not cheap but is a brilliant product and one I believe far superior to the Toyota goo.

To add to this, I personally use the Toyota FIPG on MANY things, and like it much better than most Permatex stuff. (The Right Stuff is good too, though).

But Ian is right, the 3bond stuff is fantastic!

^If you can find it. ;)

(they told me it had to come from the east coast.)

To me.

1. Yamabond/Suzukibond/JamesBond/3Bond 1207b (No personal Use; but 3Bond is Mad JDM TYTE)
2. The Right Stuff Gray/Black (i prefer Grey)
3. Toyota FIPG/Permatex Black (Insiders say the Black is the FIPG as both are Elastomeric rubber)
4. Permatex Grey/Blue/Copper (Prefer the Grey here.)

What's the stuff that comes in a pressurized can with a trigger? I forgot, but the stuff rocks compared to using a tube...

Almost all of them come in a "cheese can".

Damn, I've never seen those come in the "cheese can." I'll have to look it up, used to sell cases of the stuff at work...

Napa has them around me.

You can usually get the "right stuff" and "ultra" in every color of the rainbow.

But if you're nice to the people there they can get you fresh stuff if it's old or if they don't have it.

You want the stuff to be less than 2 years old.

Take a look at the Permatex product: there is a product number stamped onto it. The first position is a digit; that is the year of manufacture. The second position is a letter; that is the month of manufacture. The balance is tracking information as to where and when the product was made. For example, the stamp of 6CZ2378A would indicate that the product was made in '6' - 2006, and 'C' the third letter, the third month, March. It is fresh until two years after that date, that is, until March of 2008.
