Hello all,
I've recently joined this very helpful community and met lots of friendly and knowledgeable people.
I Love driving my Supra, but hate how I discovered a scratch on it!
So I went researching online and found a quick fix: "Quixx" paint-scratch repair -- it's so classy that they sell it at Canadian Tire! [sic].
56k warning:
So here is the process of me fixing the scratch:
Here I am with the tools of the trade: A bowl of warm water, some paper-towel, dish soap, Quixx-paint-scratch-remover, and of course José Cuervo tequila!
So with tools in hand, I approached my covered vehicle.. (Cover on it, 'cause my Garage is only large enough to house on vehicle -- my Father''s suped-up 2003 PT Cruiser ((This thing scary, believe-you-me)).
The scratch...
The scratch with the silly paste on it (I used up the entire tube...)
The scratch after. The paint-chip/dent is still there, but the scratch is basically gone.
I spent around $14.00 on the supplies. Would I reccomend this?
Well, that depends. If you have a light scratch, the yes. But if you have a paint-chip or divet, look for more professional work. (Even though the kit came with fine sanding-paper). Don't trust this product for serious work.
