IMO a polished lip with a black wheel only looks good with a much larger rim (18"+). The black sawblades are 'ok' but only work on some color Supras...some should just be kept silver or white.

Ok I found some pics or black sawblades with a chrome lip, for those of you who are interested. BTW this is Supra2nr's old car i think.

I was actually thinking of doing somethething like this but I dont know the rim seems a little to small and the sawblade shape dosen't help much either.

I can dig it.

i think i am going to paint my blades black i think it looks a lot better then stock on a burgandy supra

go for it, i think your right about that color looking good with burgandy... its seems this is becoming a more common and accepted thing to do with the stock blades, giving it a different look with out having to spend a crap load of $$$ on new rims.

unfortunatly my air compressor has a leak in the line so my 1/2 gun wouldnt have been able to get the tire off. it would only get up to about 40psi

that is why tire irons were invented :p

The rims look good, if you wet sand it you could get a nice gloss out of it. then clear coat it. Seen guys do this with spray paint with nice results.

if i was to lazy to tape the rest of the rim... you really think i was going to use a tire iron to get the wheel off:biglaugh:, im not really wanting to go with a high gloss rim i wanted something noticable but not really flashy, so i went with a low gloss. but i agree a high gloss rim would look really good.

hmmm I got aftermarkets only because I hated my white sawblades, i mean its nice they match the white car but white wheels suck, I may break em out of storage and do that and get some fresh rubber just for fun now and then change it up

a charcoal grey would look really good with white something in between light and dark anyway.
