You didn't get mad at your computers one day and told them to go fuck themselves did you? Careful what you ask for.
Thanks for the hardware.

I guess the re-wiring turned out ok huh. Lets hope everything else is ok. Gotta admit the engine bay looks much nicer now.

David

Looking good Mike. I gotta get in gear and get my stuff together. I was in the garage for the rest of the evening, and my wife was not happy. Oh well, I did make some progress though. I really want to finish this and drive the damn thing. I miss my car so much. I know I'm going to be missing some nuts and bolts here and there. I'm grabbing whatever fits at the moment.

I'm going to take the engine harness out of the car and wiring it up on the engine stand. I still need to clean my intercooler, oil coolers, and fuel tank. Other than that I should be able to mate the engine to the tranny and drop her in. At least it sounds easy.

My engine is actually dirty and grimy. I gave up trying to soda blast and clean every part 'til it's like new condition. I started to paint all the brackets and all, but I gave up on that too. I just want my car up and going. Thanks though. BTW, what turbo are you running?

I'm running a Boss series stage 5 60-1 dual ceramic ball bearing turbo. This is what my car looks like right now, notice the intake manifold and the thermostat housing is missing. I'm adding a little bling bling under the hood (I found a set polished) :bling:

Ok, I asked this question in the General section yesterday and didn't get much of an answer.
What goes in this bolt hole?
0018edit1.jpg
This one sits right behind the motor mount. It's the mount on the exhaust side of the engine. In my old pics I don't see anything that bolts down there. I just want to make sure what it's for before I just bypass it. Thanks for any help.

Travis, fuel upgrades are a must when attempting to cram more air in the combustion chamber. If anything at least get some kind of wideband so you can at least keep an good eye on your AFR's.

i am definitely going to try and upgrade the fuel system at the same time, dunno if im gonna try to go with bigger and better OEM parts or go aftermarket yet though
and i am a complete noob when it comes to engine management and tuning......
