SAFC Question.

I installed my safc yesterday and noticed today that the car would not idle. I checked in the SAFC monitor and it said 0 airflow. I hooked up the orange wire to the harness side of the airflow signal wire. and the Pink to the ecu side as it said to do in the instructions i had. Did i do something wrong or is the unit defective?

I bypassed the safc and the car runs normally. So the car is ok.

We have the Kaman(sp?) meter right? Thats when you use the orange and pink? Or should i be using the yellow and white or whatever.

you have to set the sensor to karman also...

its in the etc menu i believe.

oh lol. ill give that a try. Thanks man i guess i may have to reattach those wires. again.

also on the supra it will not read an airflow number, thats for use on cars that hook up the yellow and white wires.

our cars will read Hz in the frequency monitor

yes I noticed that. When I changed to karman the graph went from airflow to hz. The thing works good. can't wait to get it tuned. The knob matches the dash color sweet.
