Now I am just doing this on my GE for now until I'm ready to build my turbo motor.

I have an APexi SAFC and all I see is the gte wiring. Has anybody successfully wired these into a GE and do ya have a write up? I'm a bit concerned because I know the harnesses and ECU are different.

I had one on my GE, I think I made a diagram as to how I had it wired. I'll check and let you know. Maybe someone else can help if I can't find it.

If you can't find one specifically for the SAFC and the GE you might look over the diagram for the MAFT Pro and 7M-GE... You'll have to do some interpreting as the MAFT Pro has a lot more connections on top of those that you're going to need, but it has most of the one's you'll need as well. Ignore the sensor side of the diagrams as you're not converting to a MAF or MAP sensor.

TIP: The airflow signal from the VAF is pin VS at the ECU and at the VAF.

I'm sure someone must have a ready to use diagram for the SAFC though... several people have used it on their GE.

I know this is already posted somewhere,
like in the Piggyback Engine Management section.

Set the sensor selector on either flap2.

Red afc wire goes to ECU pin +B.
Black & Brown afc wires go to ECU pin E1.
Green afc wire goes to pin IGF.
Gray afc wire goes to ECU pin VTA.
You must cut the wire going to ECU pin VS.
Yellow afc wire goes to ECU pin VS.
White afc wire goes to 'VS' wire (harness side).

This is on Apex ECU diagram T5-b.
I have run this for 2 years now, and had confirmed it with Apex.

I run the low/high throttle points at 30% & 50%,
but I have cams, etc, so this may be different for a stock 7mge.

Awesome I thought I had to use T5-b or T5-a so I wasn't sure thanks gofast! Yeah the tuning I know might be different so I"ll mess with it a little at a time.

VS = VAF (see: Vane Air Flow) Signal. Look at the wiring diagrams and the ECU pinout, should be plenty obvious. ;)
