The cockier you are, the worse you will feel when you will lose, and then start bitching at other people. My friend has a 67 mustang, and ever since I got my car (last monday) he's been telling me how bad he will beat me once I get it running. I got it running a few days ago but didn't want to race him in it because I just put a new head gasket in and wanted to take it easy for a few days, so I decided to shut him up and I said I would race him with my truck. He brought his mustang and I brought my v6 chevy s10 2wd to a road by the industrial area. We start off going 20mph until we got to this street light and then I floored it. He got ahead about half a car length, right then I thought I was going to lose but I start catching him. Then I was 1 1/2 car lengths in front of him down to the last streetlight. I parked to the side and got out to talk to him but all he did was slow down to the speed limit and kept driving, then he took the next left turn to go back to his house. I talked to him today before class and he just kept making stupid excuses on why he lost like how he only has a 3spd and how he wasn't feeling it that night, whatever the hell that meant. I told him I had a smaller engine and an automatic. When I was trying to help him with his science quiz he kept bitching at me on how I was writing my hypothesis wrong and not recording the right data, we got out lab quizes back and I got a 98% while he got a 63%
