The supra is currently down with a bad turbo, and when i replace it i want to redo the piping as well but im on a tight budget. I have a nice new GReddy universal intercooler sitting in my room and im likely going to use a driftmotion ct2657. My problem in the intercooler piping. obviously aluminum is best however I dont have a tig welder or even know how to tig for that matter. I do however have a mig welder with CO2 tanks, and i found these pipes on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...288793743&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNARL:MOTORS:1123
I know its not the best option, steel is much heavier than aluminum, but is this at least a reasonable idea, or am i completely off my rocker on this one?
