:umno::bsflag:

You remind me of a certain N/A guy who said he had ~230 RWHP on bolt ons. Post up proof otherwise nobody will believe this. Honestly, you either ran a 1/8 mile run or 13.2 is the A/F Ratio you saw on your wideband, lol...

I think he meant his afrs guys

I said that, but when you look at his post, it pretty much looks like he's talking about the quarter mile.

Id hope he just saw that on the WB because i ran a 11.32 (in the 8th of course) stock with my 350lbs brother in the car on a full tank with a shit launch and shifting at 5k.

but back on topic im sure you could pick up a shit ton of throttle response and maybe a lil power with adjusting between timing and S-AFC, i wouldnt do it without a wideband tho. but it makes me wanna try it! :biglaugh:

i really wish i still had the time slips
but they were lost in the move
i still got beat by a nissan nx. aka the blue skittle
it ran a 12.9
all of this ws about two years ago
been trying to go na-t since then

why is 13.2 a fast time for a stock 91 na
i thought it was kinda slow hence the na-t conversion
i thought all supra's stock should be putting up something in the 12's
my motor has less than a 1000 miles on it after a toyota remanufacture
could that be why? it was running like brand new

The fastest I have ever ran with my 86 NA was a 15.4. Do not take this personally but did you read the right side of the slip? The only reason I said this was the last time I was at the local 1/4 mile dragway I looked over and saw 14.8, and didn't realize it was a 15.4 it until I got back to the gate and a friend corrected me. hehe.

Now onto the SAFC, how is everyone connecting them to their harnesses, I really do not like butchering the harness. I know there are the jumper harnesses, but at $150 and up, they do not seem worth it. Has anyone tried to make their own?

if it's a stock 91 NA, then it can't really have the NA-T conversion. that counts as an upgrade :sarcasm:

Stock N/As typically range from mid 15s to mid 16s, depending on the modifications, driver, and engine condition. I've seen stock N/As run mid 15s, and modded ones run mid 16s, but the point is, even in all the ideal conditions theres no WAY you could run 13s unless you've got major work done to the car. Bolt-ons+SAFC don't cut it. If you had more, then feel free to share.

ok i understand that
i did have most of the interior out of the car
and i bought the car with pacesetter exhaust but that is about it
other than that i don't fully know what was done before i bought the car
i beleive that is all that was done
but i have no idea about the engine internals i only know that it says toytoa remanufacture
thats it

Hey why can't his NA pull 13.2's there's one at the start of the thread running 140mph..... :nono:

Maybe I should change the title to "Come talk shit about how fast/quick your NA is"....

Quick calc shows your magical NA is making 292rwhp to pull a 13.2 at 3400 Lb's and this is being generous as I didn't include driver weight.

As for 140 mph fuck off the test cars when new would barely manage 130mph..

he ran 13.2 in the 1/8th mile, he is simply mistaken,

or he had a big bottle of Naawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwzzzzzzzz

LOL

cause aint no way you ran 13.2 in the 1/4 in an n/a

i had a red 87 n/a with headers, full 2.5 exhaust all the way back no cats no resonator, borla muffler, cold air intake, bored out throttle body, ported and polished head, with some shaved off to bump compression up a lil, fidanza lightweight flywheel, 1 piece aluminum driveshaft, timing 12* and safc and the best i ran was 14.7. And this is all in a hardtop with everything gutted from behind the front two seats.

So unless u got a big shot of some juice, this is bullshyt.

i strongly believe that ur looking at the 1/8th mile time or the track is an 1/8th mile track

smh i miss my n/a, but boost is so fun lol

If I'm not mistaken, Dean Marcum ran a 13.9 in his NA a long time ago. I dont recall him having any major engine work done either.

If I recall pink and orange were used for 7mgte (karmann) AFM. For the 7MGE afm you would be using yellow/white.

It should be like this for SAFC II 7MGE :

Red - power
Green - rpm signal
Gray - Throttle signal (TPS)
Brown - Ground
Black - Ground
Yellow - Air Flow Output (this goes towards the ECU)
White - Air Flow Input (goes away from ECU)
Blue - Not Used (Or connect to o2 sensor to read o2 voltage)
Pink Not used (Used on Karman vehicles)
Orange Not used (Used on Karman vehicles)
Purple - Knock Sensor
