I know that not too many people look thought this section but, I'm hoping someone will respond pretty quickly.

I've got a 2j with a single turbo upgrade. I've got 550 injectors in there and an S-AFC II hooked up. The thing is, I think that the throttle wire isnt hooked up properly. I'm constantly reading 26.3% open at any time and will just jump from 26.3% to 26.5%. If someone can please post a pic/link to where it should be hooked up in the ECU. BTW, I've got a stock ECU and this is an Aristo motor.

I'm getting a wideband really soon and I need to fix this problem before I can tune it.

Thanks

I can't help you cause I didn't do the install on my safc2, but I read your title and then your post and got confused. Title says safc2, but the post says savc2. Did you mean the avcr?

Ed,
Sorry I could not get back to youearlier on this. I did not have time to check the pinout.
According to the ECU Pinout , it is supposed to be hooked up to the PIN # 64 on the bigger 80 PIN Plug. When you look at the plug, it should be read from # 1 looking into the ecu on the right and it will go all the way to # 20. (last pin on that plug). I believe it will be last row, fourth PIN from the right for PIN 64.
( Should be red in color). I may have hooked it up to the Secondary TPS by mistake...but can't say for sure.Did not really pay attention to the TPS voltage.

Hope this helps.

but the damn thing now reads around 13%. i double checked all the connections and they were correct. i dont know what the hell is going on.

Also, I did make sure the TPS was within specs a few days prior to installing the SAFC. It was set to the 2JZ specs listed on MKIV forum.Ofcourse I never bothered reading the tps readings on it as it was installed at the request of another interested party. Try resetting the ecu by pulling the efi fuse? See if that changes anything and initializing the SAFC.

i had that same problem. if you go into the setup section of it and go to where the throttle sensor... i forget exactly what it's called. but if you reset that it will fix it. i haven't looked at an AFC for a while so i forget the menu setup.

i think where it shows throttle up or down...
