Did I miss the pics or something??

Nope this is all text.

As for getting an MK2 as a drift car I would say pass. The market for that car is almost non existent. You would have to do much much more custom work.

And as many people said. MK3's are a pretty good drifting platform. I was even able to hold consistent drifts with my 7M-GE and moderate suspension mods.

NOYFB!
Sounds interesting...but why would you want to waste all that $$$ on a 7M? The JZ series motors are soooo superior!!!:icon_razz

Have some patience people. I certainly do not have thousands of dollars and a team of people building it. I thought I made it clear that the engine that is in my supra right now is on the fritz and will have a new engine put in soon (2-3 weeks). After that is paid for then I will be able to continue throwing money at the project, but until then the block and pistons are just sitting around.

I know I said I would take some pictures but I'm a loser and forgot the fucking camera. Things will pick back up in a month or so. My project this weekend will be removing all the interior asphalt-like sound deadening...heat gun fun here I come.

Sorry this is such a disappointing thread to some haha.

So the head for the 7M(not the engine build described in this thread) has been fully ported...and looks amazing! Forged pistons are on their way...machine work on the preping of the block has started and the stock rods are being polished. Assembly and swap of this replacement/mostly stock engine will happen in March. I will post pictures of the ported head soon.

Once the car is back in full working/no hassle order the Twin Turbo build will resume so please be patient. I will be seeing my engine builder and breaking down this project into viable stages...ie engine internals, block prep, head prep/setup, intake setup, exhaust setup, electronics/engine management.

If you expect to see another twin turbo 7M build completed anytime soon, you will be disappointed. This is more for me so I can keep the project documents and have a time line of the project.

I should post again this time next month.
