I finally got the rx60. She's an old girl with alot of work to do but with some love she will live again. I have a few pics of the stripped interior and the engine bay. I'll be picking up the 2jzge hopefully Saturday.

Never heard of a 21R before... going by the standard R designation to engine size conversion, that would make that a 2.3L, correct?

Anyway, nothing wrong with a little JZ love in an old 4 door Toyota. :)

Got the 5 speed 2jz out of a MKiv supra a few days ago. I just have a little cleaning up to do.

Err... what sort of gas is red?

VP Red @ 105 octane is about that color. Some other race fuels are too.

That stuff may just be old crap however...

Mike's right. As gas turns to varnish/turpentine, it takes on a maroonish red tint and gets a thicker viscosity to it. Can't remember for the life of me why, but that's the color our firebird always spits out when we let it sit for a year or two.

Wouldn't mind some of that myself... So, is the plan here just a 2j NA, or is this thing gonna see some boost?
