Does anybody have any experience or opinions on wether the mkiii turbo supra or a TII rx-7 is faster. Any comparisons and facts between the two?

stock for stock, mod for mod or what???
i have a GTUs rx7 and its as fast as a bone stock T2 rx7.. but its slow as balls compared to a stock MK3 turbo.
the most ive seen pulled out of a non-built T2 is like mid 300's. beyond that, i find that most people typically have built motors.
a properly supported MK3 with a 60-1 upgrade CT will more than likely out run a T2 that is equally modded w/ upgraded turbo.
also, T2's are only about 400 lbs lighter than a MK3... as in 3400lbs vs. 3800lbs, in full trim. T2's are the top of the line RX7 so they typically have ALL the trimmings and luxuries that base models do not. so 300rwhp rx7 is most likely equally fast as a 350rwhp MK3.

Are you sure they are that heavy STATS This site says they are under 3000 I also thought supras were a little lighter then 3800 pounds.
Any way, I meant all 3 ways. Stock for Stock, basic mods for basic mods and then max potential for max potential. Its just someone said you cant realy even compare the 2, that the rx-7 outclasses the supra, lol

well stock for stock is all we could possibly answer without actualy taking these cars out on the track,
max potential who the hell knows what the max potential is for these cars thats like asking us to figure out how many 1inch beads we can fit in the cars off of the top of our heads.

I have a modified 88T supra and recently sold my 88 Rx-7. I had a friend who had a 88T2 highly modified Rx-7 and it was pretty quick. Stock to stock Supra T 230hp/N/A 200hp /Rx-7 T2 168hp/N/A 145hp. The Supras weight 3400-3700 depends on model(Targa,sunroof,solid,5-spd,or auto). The RX-7s are 2600-3000 also depending on the models. I'd believe though the Supra Turbos would be faster stock or modified. They might take a little more power to move them but the power is going to be more reliable in the long run and you can biuld up more power easier. Later-T
