Hmm, where to start. The car has been running great. Today, I take the truck to work, and when I get home, I want to move the car. It won't start. It turns over. When I try to start it, I can smell fuel and the car backfires. Well, after 3 or 4 minutes of trying to start it, it fires. I move the car, shut it off and proceed to check for codes. Nothing. I try to start the car again, it doesn't start right away. Finally it starts but dies soon after, maybe 10 seconds or so. And now I am just repeating the process. It starts, then dies.

Stock bov
Stock AFM
Electric fan will be replaced with stock tonight (the engine temp raised on me last night.)
Still no codes
Has run great with no troubles.
Any ideas??
Thanks guys/girls

well the dying part sounds similar to when my TPS was acting up, if you give it gas while it's running, does it stay on? if so, you might wanna take the plug off and give it a nice cleaning

Check the connection on your AFM. It sounds like it probably came loose or maybe (hopefully not) your AFM took a shit.

That's the exact same symptoms my supra made when mine went out, but I've also seen the connector come loose and do the same thing.
