running lean when i turn elec. fan on

i have a88 supra and when iturn the fan on it cut out or runs lean 3000rpms and up and i know its the fan because whhen iturn it off it runs perfect all the way to redline please help

too much current draw from the fans.... not getting enough juice to the pump.

Realy the fans and the fuel pump, then get a good battery let me know how it works and if i'm correct.. you need a good amp reading on the pump when the fans are on and off.

yep, sounds like too much current draw and pulling the voltage down on the fuel pump.

what is your wiring setup and what fans?

i have it wireddirectly to the battery with a switch im and im running flexalite dual fans that draw 19 amps.thanks walt.

did u mean put a relay in

I hope thats one hell of a switch you've got to support 19 amps of continuous draw... I hope thats not each. Also you would need some pretty serious wiring to support a long run of 19 amps, not to mention the fire hazard the whole thing is, especially if there isn't any fuse in it.

On top of all that it sounds like you have gone way beyond the capacity of your battery and the cars charging system if your fuel pump voltage drops so low just from the fans running that it leans out like you're describing.

no thats fer both fans and im runnin 12 gauge wire with 25 amp fuse.
