Blitz Nur tucks well at the rear, but as with any 3" exhaust on a MkIII, your main area of concern is where it passes by the diff. It's like most of the others, not quite as tucked as it could be. If you are willing to cut and re-weld some hangers, you could get it really tight to the underside.:icon_bigg
Also, some of those Cobb, or Cart-Boy hangers might help out too. My son has those on his WRX with the Greddy EVO system, and you can't even budge his exhaust!

Yeah the part where it passes the diff is why I want under car pics haha. But everyone just keeps telling me that they don't scrape which doesn't help me much when I am on average 1-2" lower then everyone else. And you are right.. I can just re-weld the hangers.

I'm about as low as you. I have the Blitz NUR Spec exhaust. I scrape all the time :/ Although, when I was looking it was one of the tightest (up under the car) that I could find :(

I'll try to get a pic of the under side of the car tomorrow.

Oh and the idea of how low... driving through 3" of snow you see tire tracks with a line down the middle where the exhaust is pushing snow.

Well Bor, this is what I would do: Put the exhaust on and adjust your coilovers so that you are satisfied with the amount of scrape-age you get.

I drive on flat gravel roads really slow and I catch pieces of gravel. I pull into ANY lipped driveway and I scrape. Speed bumps, forget it. Any sort of sharp incline, not happening. But I drive on flat pavement, no scrapes.

Had to lighten up the picture to see the clearance, but here it is:

my car was pretty low and I never really scraped the exhaust.

It looks to be only about .5" difference, plus you're only using it on the track so I don't think either exhaust would be a problem.

mNot sure if I am right or not but I reember hearing that the RSR sits way to far back and is maxing out the exhaust doughnuts. I am thinking of getting a shorter cat and/or a short test pipe to make it not stick out as much

^ still want that answered.

Why do I want to adjust my coilovers? I actually want to go lower.

Yeah I hear you there. I've still got a good 3/4" to go until they are all the way down. Only problem is the camber is WAY too far and hits the coilovers :(. That's another project on my list: adjustable control arms.

One thing that I can say about the Blitz is that it's held up very well considering the amount that it has been scraped.

I don't know if that's true with the RSR but it was true with my Blitz. I still need to make a custom test pipe for it so that it sits inside the bumper better.

Oh smokes that is low. I'd probably add a strap or something so it holds up closer to where there is a slit next to the diff. Thanks for the pic. Oh and have you had issues with the resonator being too low?

Just looking at it I would say that the resonator is about 1/2-3/4" higher than where I measured. The center section usually only scrapes going over speed bumps unless I hit them at quite an angle. The part under the diff I only have problems with on roads with deep rutts.

Once I get the car in the shop I'm going to cut the hangers and make them shorter. It could be tighter to the bottom of the car and the donuts won't flex enough that it will hit things. After I get this done I think the DP and resonator will be the lowest. I'll be taking lots of pics during this project so if you would like I can post them here or PM you with them. I'm sure I'll put them in my build thread as well.

And that is what I wanted to see. Thank you very much. I just wanted to make sure the RSR was routed to go in the slot by the diff.

Thanks.
