This problem just started a couple of days ago.
On any day my Supra 88 Turbo has good power but for the last couple of days things have changed a little.

1. If I just start the car and drive for less than 5 miles. No problems.
2. If I drive more than that then it seems like the gears dis-engage, or the clutch is pressed.
3. Once I switch gears i seems to gets better but not much.

My supra has a Manual Tramsmission and I just changed the cluth.
I have codes 43 and 52 but those I had them before this problem

Thanks for your help.

Not exactly the right place for this thread X.x But yeah.. get 52 fixed and you should notice a big difference. It'll drive fine out of boost, but once you hit positive manifold pressure it'll spit and sputter and still sound like it should be hauling ass.

Childersburg AL,
Code 52 sucks, It will kill ride enjoyment.
Look up a knock sensor rewire. If that dosent fix it source some new knock sensors.
Probly wouldn't hurt to check you timing, and do a boost leak test as well.

Thanks to all.
It ended up being the speedometer cable loose onto the transmission.
Somehow got loose and started leaking.
tied it and replace fluid and we are great again....

If you know of someone selling a knock sensor for an 88 7mgte, please let me know.
Thanks again
