I rode around with an open downpipe for 6 month....I could get away with it because I live in the country. After 6 months of noise, I can tell you I was beyond glad to finally get a full exhaust on my car... Trust me if you don't get tired of it soon, the cops will and you'll regret not having it. I'd say just put the exhaust on the car, it sounds much nicer anyway but that's my opinion.

Ohh man!! THANKS A LOT! It sounds really good. But why not go with 3" piping?

Was having overboost issues, 2.5" piping gave it enough restriction to keep the boost below fuel cut.

And so it is....I just made my decision and purchased a Cxracing/Driftmotion exhaust today! Hoping its quiet enough with the silencer in so I don't wake my neighbors as I'm pulling out for work early in the morning.

But on the flip side....I hope its DAMN loud at WOT! Anyway, thanks guys for the suggestions. I may get a BIC ddp this summer as well; can't get enough of hearing my wastegate crack open with my open downpipe right now (current dp is recirculated).

DDP would be a good choice, its quiet until you get on it

Installed my CXracing/Driftmotion exhaust yesterday. Currently, I'm in the process of replacing all my front seals (cam, oil pump drive and front main seals) so I can't start it up and hear just yet. Waiting on a crankshaft timing pulley part; hopefully, I can get it running next weekend.
