MDC I was looking at your bolt-in cages on your website--how do they hold up?

Came over a crest on a divided road to find some Gumby in a roadworks machine doing an illeagal U turn across the centre divider, I was going a little quick at the time headed for an escape route car spun and reversed into a concrete pole.

If it weren't for the Cage I'd have been killed outright, the EMS guys praised how strong the car was built I even had the presence of mind to kill the battery power before impact. (Isolator between the seats next to the MBC and brake balance)

Wow...I don't even really know what to say to that--aside from, like I said a minute ago, glad that you survived. I assume you've got a welded cage in the Supra, also?

damn IJ! i saw pics of it on your build. i had no idea it met such a demise. you must have been going "quick". it hit the pole so hard the steering wheel ended up on the passenger side!

SW Cage can work but is a crapload of work to make it fit. I did a through dash kit on my car and not one piece was the correct bend or angle. Took almost 3 solid days of just welding, bending, cutting, and notching. Good luck.

Oh by the way roll bar & back seat passengers :nuts:
