If that is the case it is his cluster and he can do what he wants to it. When he choses to sell the car (if he dose) there is a box that needs to be checked on the title that the mileage is NOT CORRECT.
yes i know btu the car was totalled cus of a drunk driver. So im just trying to get it all set up for my next one once i get my garage built i have a mint 89 comming from my uncle. The title already states it isn't the correct mileage. And i would like to roll back and put some gauges in the cluster. So i just want to get it ready does anyone know how?
yah whats the reason for, lying to yourself, or f***in someone over. either case its easy, or just replace your speedo with a different one.
sorry didn't see the last post, pretty sure you can pull your speedo out and hook it to a drill, i've head some odometers the numbers dont line up if you wind them back but rest rights itself. i thought i had a spare speedo here but i dont...

or find a garage that will do it, not a midas/autozone type but the random car garage owned by a mechanic...
Just go to your local DMV and ask them to do it for you. They have a special tool that adjust the mileage. You will have to give them permission in the form of a signed affidavit giving them permission to roll back your mileage.
