Why would you even drive a car that is prone to mechanical failures because of improper maintenance by previous owners or poor engineering by Toyota? Why don't you just sell the damn thing if it bothers you so much? It's a damn CAR. You guys are taking this shit so horribly seriously, THAT is retarded. Again, humor is humor and if you can't laugh at yourself and some silly issues, then you should give up on life. It's not a shirt about your dead grandmother, it's a shirt about a mecahnical boo boo.

Get the hell over yourselves

:word8kn: Did you guys buy your cars or live your lives based on what other people think of them?

So the 1000hp race from a roll shirt is better, wouldn't that just give the impression "god, this guy must not be a very good driver"?

Who cares what they think about you, if you race them and win, how do you think they'll feel?

Duane could you please close this for the love of god and everyones sanity.

I think this has been a relatively calm argument, why close it? There isn't a whole bunch of "fuck yous" and "die in a fire" yet, so what's the big deal? I like arguing my point, as well as reading the point from the opposite side.

Why this subject bothers me so much is: my business depends on some sales from the silly shirts I've designed. I've been trying to get my business jumping for over the past year, and it bothers me that people think that my BHG shirts are "moronic" because they can't see the humor in it, or are too high and mighty to accept that humor. I know I can't please everyone, but I definitely do NOT agree with the reasoning behind this particular subject ::SHRUG::

Was it not the owner that shimmed the wastegate, installed a MBC becasue shimming wasnt enough, ran double the factory set level of boost on an otherwise stock car, Racing that said car and ending up with a blown head gasket?

1jz didnt replace the 7m, it was in the same car of the same year, only difference was the market and emission regulations/standards.

the 2jz replaced them both, and not necessarily because it was better but because in 7 years new technology was available and they used it. I guess you could say it was better looking at it from now time, but in 1990, the 7m and 1j were top of the line, and in 1995 2j was top of the line. things progress.

If anyone would like to buy a T-shirt from Tanya, I would for sure send them her way. If you don't like the shirt then don't buy it and if you do, well, you got it! Buy it!

We don't need anymore information on this topic and again if you want to get something from Tanya, please contact her. :)
