In my spark plug valley. It's almost full to the top. Boost Lee has a picture of it, it's actually kinda funny. Replacing my VCGs today, any other ideas to stop the leak?

^Quite the opposite, indeed. ;)

I must say...Tuned at 15psi...This has got to be the fastest MA70 I've ever ridden in with an upgraded CT26. And it still has 440's. It's pretty ridiculous...:aigo:

As for the oil in the galley...I was hysterical. I couldn't believe how much oil was standing. It was filled up completely to the spark plug galley cover. I pulled a few of his plugs (obviously drenched in oil)...Plugged them back in; Car still ran solid and strong with no missing out or cylinder drops.

I just bought a new cam last night, swapped over the Memory card and accidentally reformatted the entire card, so I lost EVERYTHING. No picture....Sorry.

Strange thing is, there is no trace of oil on the galley cover. I mean there's some dried up oil...but it's almost as if the oil is seaping through somewhere in the galley walls.
:dunno:

Damn it. I can get a cell phone pic but it wont be as funny. It doesn't seem like it the VCs, as Jeff said they're CLEAN. I used RTV and reused the old (but good) gaskets when I replaced the cam seals. I'll go get the pic. I want to hold off on the valve cover gasket, as I don't see how that's what is causing it.

Btw Jeff, my peak/hold said that was only 12:evil2:

EDIT: Here ya go. Feel free to lol/tell me where the fuck this is coming from

the same thing happened to me when i bought my supra when i was goin to change the sparkplugs. I changed the valve cover gaskets, the valve cover phillips head screws to hex head, i put headgasket sealent on the center 14mm bolt threads , and i replaced the gasket over the sparkplug valley i think it was called a plenum gasket.

I've done everything but seal those bolts in the middle and replace that gasket. Anyone have a pic of it? I have a gasket set right here but none are labeled.

I'd like to add I'm parked on a fairly steep incline, and that is #1. I'm sure if I could pull 6 it'd overflow out the top

I thought that it COULDN'T be my valve cover gaskets... But when I changed them, the problem went away... For a couple of years.

The bolts that hold in the #3 cylinger head gasket (As Toyota calls it) are also possibly suspect, as was mentioned.

Just got off the phone with MDC, and it turns out when I did the cam seals I did it wrong. I didn't use any FIPG on the cam cap(?), and that's what it's leaking from. To continue that awesomeness (took four hours in a heated garage with two people working fast), I have smoke coming out of my catch can, which is also hooked up wrong, though I didn't do this one =[

You don't have to pull it all the way apart again, just pull the v.c.'s, pull the front caps, silicone them, and put it back together. 1/2 hr. tops. I'd look into the bolts in the center of the head as well.
