Ride Tech air ride?

hey ya i just moved to corpus christy and to say the least the bumpy roads here aren't to kind to the Suspension set up that was on the car when i bought it. the prob is all the roads are built on sand and it shifts making it very bumpy, and ll the drive ways are really steep for water drain off. I wana do Some kind of air ride system on it so i can adjust the ride hight on the go. why systems are good for the mkiii? and dose Ride Tech have a system for the mkiii?

I don't know of any air suspensions for the Mk3 specifically, but I'm sure Ride Tech would know. Have you tried calling them? If they don't make one, they might know of a company that does. Failing that, you could always fabricate your own.

Or, if that isn't an option, the stock suspension on these cars was VERY comfortable. Just kinda puts the ride height a bit tall...

IIRC K-Sport makes a setup for our cars, but it's not cheap ($3000-$4000)

Downside with AirSuspension is once you jack the car up higher the spring rate increases and there goes any comfort, even at normal ride height it's going to have a much stiffer rate than stock so most shocks aren't going to cope and you end up with a Pogo Stick ride.
(just done a full install on a project car and have a second kit waiting for my DD)
