ride is really slow

really having my doubts here.
I love my 90 T an nat, an I dont ever plan to sell her... but, what gives.

I got a :

maxx evo intercooler that big ass mother fucker.

maxx hard pipes

apex'i power intake

greedy sport cat back

hks D/P

walbro high flow fuel pump

ecu modded so I dont hit fuel cut till 15 psi

high flow turbo elbow

test pipe

greedy bov if that makes a difference


not instaled i have:


the 550's injectors

lexus afm

greedy profec B b/c


just seems like my sit runs slow as hell anymore.
I'm slow as hel off the start unless I dump the clutch at whatever rpm's...

an yes I think I hit fuel cut, so it seams. you all know the feeling of a heavy vibration an your not accelerating untill you let off the gas pedal..

does my shit just need tuned properly ?
maybe get it dyno'd so it can get tuned ?


guess thats why , I'm itching again for another old muscle car....

sounds like you have an exhaust leak or boost leak as the stock CT really spools pretty damn fast...

could be going pig rich as well...

the turbo may be tired as well and on it's way out...

You'll know if you hit fuel cut...all of a sudden the car will feel like you suddenly let go of the gas pedal. Kinda scary actually ;)

As far as your ride running slow, make sure everything is running 100%. Does your car seem to have lost power recently or just never had the punch you're looking for?

just seems like the more I put on bolt ons, the more it lags......
to be honest, I really dont know how to tune it....

What size are your IC Hardpipes?

That large intercooler is definitely not helping that lil CT get the air all the way to the intake, if you have larger then 2.25" pipes, that's not helping either, if you have 3" pipes that would definitely explain why your bolt-ons have been creating lag!

Thats just my $0.02 ;)

Any codes?

fuel cut with pop a CEL and it's more like going about 15mph in first gear and repeatedly stomping ont he gas pedal. It's VERY violent (will spill drinks).

SOund more like you're getting spark blowout or a miss (probably running too rich).

Did you drill out the J tube or bypass it?

Its the plate on the side of the block with two nuts / studs, under the intake manifold, below the knock sensors, behind the AC unit.

It tube on the side of the plate in the shape of a "J".

You need to by pass that when running that walbro.
