I have a few good friends here that roll civics... All three are different... One is a full jdm hatch... Another is a boosted street civic... And another is a full blown drag Civic, oh but it has a full interior, so its streetable too...
All three are really clean, all three have different power levels, and all three are owned by guys who had a vision of what they wanted for their cars and made it happen...
There is something that confuses me though about that last car... He gained half a second... But his MPH never went up... 89mph is slow for a 7.6 sec run... So I compared teh two time slips from the Civic that ran @20psi versus the guy that said he ran @10psi...
Similar 60' times... 10psi: 1.7 20psi: 1.9sec...
1/8th mile times... 10psi: 7.65 20psi: 7.63...
1/8th mile traps... 10psi: 89.81 20psi: 98.80...
Something about that trap doesnt seem right... I ran an 8.5 with 330hp and spinning and my trap was 85mph... I guess Im just wondering how a guy running 10psi can run the same time, but slower trap than a guy running similar set up and 20psi more? Just wierd to me... But then again, Im just looking at numbers here, I dont know enough about hondas to make the decernment between the two... Maybe one has a more efficient motor on lower boost? I dunno... Im just rambling... arent I?
