Well, I was thinking of purchasing the Bee*R Rev Limitter, so I won’t have to
worry about over revving the engine. I have a 7MGTE around 250-350 hp (Not Dynoed), and my ultimate goal is 550 hp Daily Driver and occasionally driven at the track but not much since time+money.
“Bee*R REV LIMITTER is designed to cut ignition and prevent over revving the
engine”. “Two rev limits can be set manually”. You can set the dials to your
desired outcome, or presets. There may some downside to this like, “The
operating range of product is below the factory fuel cut system cutoff
point..
The product will not operate above the factory point and works below that
cutoff point”. “Nothing can be controlled or adjusted above the factory
point”.
Seems to me like this unit can be a positive outcome, but then again I’m no
expert on this topic. Maybe a SM expert or someone with experience on this
topic can chime in. Thanks in advance for any information.
