Does anyone have any suggestions for making the rubber/plastic trim look more like new? Specifically the trim around the windows, door vents, etc?

I just recently looked into this, their is a special window trim paint you can get all you do is scuff the existing trim and then mask off your window and spray. As for the trim on your car I wouldn't bother unless your going to repaint the whole car. otherwise you can try to buy new trim (expensive) or go carbon fibre.
One thing, and one thing ONLY. 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's the only stuff that won't cause long term damage to the trim. If the rubber is gone, you're SOL...
