is this the resistor pack for the injectors...??? and whats on the other side i see ppl take it off when they did there 1jz swap... why???

tissimo said:86 Sports 1jz - yea, that is correct, or even sard high impedance injectors
AZN MK3 - Take off the injector resistors or the resistor you have circled? When wiring in MKIV injectors they are low impedance and require a resistor or you will burn up your ecu, and the stock 7m resistor pack works fine for this and you usually have it.

tissimo said:The fuel pump relay and resistor is wired to the body wiring. There wont be a plug on the 1jz or 7m harness. On my car I just moved mine into the fender to clean up the engine bay
The Reaper said:dont know if this will help you but its the yellow plug on the left side of the pic. there should be a yellow plug laying over there in a cylinder shape and it plugs into the Fuel pump relay/resistor
crazysupra2JZ said:the one on the driver side is the injector resistor. it has the boost sensor attached to it.
bottom right corner
bigaaron said:There is no injector resistor on a 1jz! If you want to install low impedance injectors you will need to cut the injector wires and install a 7m resistor.
The Reaper said:thats for the MAP sensor
the plug for the fuel pump relay/resistor is NOT ON THE ENGINE HARNESS
its on the BODY HARNESS
bigaaron said:The map sensor is at the firewall :icon_conf
And I was talking about the injector resistor, not the fuel pump resistor. The origional poster is confused, he's getting the two resistors mixed up.
