Request: Clarification of A/C System

According to the TSRM, I should have 12v on pin 2 of the A/C Amplifier when the A/C button is 'On' - I have 0v.

I should have 0v on pin 2 of the A/C Amplifier when the A/C button is 'Off' - I have 5v.

What gives?

The electrical wiring diagram for the MA70 is great, but not so good at telling you exactly how the devices operate.

I believe this is a problem, as I am not getting ground out on the brown wire (pin 7) of the A/C amplifier, which is preventing the A/C clutch from activating.

you got freon in it right? I know its not related to the post for the most part but it should disable it if levels are low. not sure on the voltage tho.
