Hey guys,
I'm replacing my stock voltmeter with an aftermarket in stock location. I've put in the research and found that to get an aftermarket gauge to fit, people are cutting out the back of the cluster.
I'm confused as to what to do with the green film that covers that corner.. I see people have just cut that corner of it off, but I've also read that if any of the green film gets damaged it can cause issues for the other gauges. Sooo I'm stuck..
btw, what is the proper name for the "green film"?
Thanks
