I know a while back maybe on SM or SF that there was a thread where it said that the stock radiator cap of the PWR are worthless. Well i've always kept an eye on it and today its showing signs of leaking. I just looked thru the 17 pages of threads and none of them really say if a stock cap can be used or not. I am guessing PWR cap is 16psi and the stocker is .9 Bar(~13psi)- is that right?

Anyways i just want to know the fix and where to get it at. Hopefully i can get one at local Parts store and keep it the same Psi Rating cap as it was intended OEM.

thanks in adance

check to see that there is no little rocks or anything on the gaskets...make sure that it is moist with coolant when you put it on also...makes a better seal than dry

I had a Blitz cap on mine.

Any Supra cap should work as long as it wasn't designed for the radiator with smaller caps.

yeah that was my thread on sf.

there are 2 different versions of stock cap. one fits, the other doesnt.

aftermarket caps are hit and miss. i know the trd doesnt fit. the toyota greddy fits, and i think power enterprise fits but not 100%
