replacing headgasket

ok well i just got question..

my motor was rebuilt about 20.000km ago. and im planning on replacing the head gasket and the head was rebuilt but i dont know if its safe to just put the mhg on or just bring it to a machine shop and get it resurfaced??

or will it be okjust replace the just the head gasket??

well lmk what you guys think.

yeah i actually looked at that before the i posted but thats for a bhg. mines still good and i just want to replace it now then later down the road cause im going to be doing some high boosting like in the 15-19psi range. so yeha.

arrizle, dont you have a N/A. I'm not sure, but i think that may change people's answers to your questions, I have a feeling that you dont have to be 'so hardcore' when it comes to things, as we'll not be dealing with boost. (unless that's something you plan to do in the future)

hey naw man i got a turbo. :) but im not hardcore.. :p im just trying to make it hold my 60-1 trim at the track. I just want to replace it so that when it comes to the track im not left stranded so yeah/.
