you have to remove the entire spindle and unscrew the retaining nut and pull the bearing apart because it is the only way to remove the hub assembly. the dam abs ring wont allow access to the stud. You will need to buy a new bearing for the spindle because you will get debris in the bearing grease and it will have to apart anyway. I had one break and replaced all 5 studs. Be sure not to damage the abs sensor ring. stupid PITA for a dam stud. If they made the abs magnetic pick up a little bigger you could slide a stud into the sensor hole and into the hub hole.
the bearings have to be pressed in and so does the stud. The bearing race took about 4000 lbs of force. A machine shop may be able to do it if you take them the knuckle and new bearing and stud.
