Replace rod bearings with engine in car?

Has anyone been able to replace the rod bearings without pulling the engine?

it is possible.
u have to drop the K-member to get the oil pan off.

yup its possible, im getting mine done the same way tommorow. but does anyone know how reliable it will be? thanks.

can u perhaps do a writeup? also do the front tires need to be off thegroudn while doing this? and finally how high does it need oto be?

I am willing to try anything once. Do I have to drop k frame or is it better to raise the engine? I will definitely need some pointers so I don't do what I shouldn't and do do what I should. Don't want to be in deep do do.

what a nightmare of a job that would be with the motor in the car.

if the crank is ok and no rods are fucked it should work fine. as stated before you better measure everything.

personally, id rather... actually, if i get a rod knock on this motor i am pushing my car off a cliff.
