Yes torque converter bolted to flex plate. 6 bolts, hold ratchet on crank pulley while undoing torque converter bolts. If you can't manage it, take some hard pills and finish the job
Make sure line pressure cable is off, that's caught me a couple of times lol.
With the converter off they are cake to get the auto off

LOL The way I see it, I just did mine the other day like that... and I'm a girl... so if a boy can't do it, he needs to harden up or take some hard pills

btw how easy is it to damage your seals and all that because the other day it got too dark to finish taking off my tranny so i left it jacked up, i heard something fall as soon as i went in, i figured my toolbox tipped.
i went to work on it at like 4 pm the next day and found out my jack tipped and my tranny was hanging since i heard it tip at 7pm the day before.
the reason i am concerned is because my moms mechanic came over to work on her truck and told me how he damaged a supra when he unbolted the support brackets without a jack under it

Thanks for all the tips, I unbolted the torque converter pulled the tranny down a little and it fell down on my arm :icon_bigg....waiting for my parts to come from driftmotion and my r154 will be going in
