Removal of oil pressure sensor..

So what's the common method of removing this thing while the motor is in the car? I can get a stubby 14mm on it but can't get leverage from that! Can I leave it and mount my aftermarket one in a dif location? I see an area near the back of the block that looks like a good spot but don't know how accur that would be.

are you talking about the oil pressure sender? I usually get it by hand...not to say im Arnold Schwarzenegger or anything but after some pressure it lets go. I dont have any experience with mounting it in a different location so if it where me, i would get an adapter and use the same location

take off the accordian hose
i dont have the powersteering resivor so its easy to get to

there is another oil pressure port right next to/above the dipstick hole in the block, or you can tee off the port the original sender is in

To "T" off of that port, wouldn't he first need to know how to get it off?
