Redline MT90, Royal Purple 75w90, GM Syncromesh, or Other?

I buy the cheapest shit I can find and put some Lucas in it.

Come on, I can see with how thick helps the transmission mechanically, but what is in the name? Tranny oil is tranny oil. Does it matter who made it?

i was thinking of changing my tranny oil... how many quarts do you need to buy?

IIRC the TSRM says 3.5 for manual, can you get the redline at any parts store? didnt see it at autozone the other day

3.2 quarts for an R154. I bough 4 quarts of MT90.

Drained all the oil out.

1 took 1 quart MT90 and poured out .8 quarts into a measuring cup.

I removed the shifter.

Poured in the .8 quarts to flush out the old stuff.

Waited 1 hour for everything to full drain out.

Replaced drain plug.

Poured the rest of the 3.2 quarts through the shifter.

Replace shifter.

Enjoy.
