Trans Am....:sarcasm: Even though the 850 doesn't look much with a mk3
at all....

I can understand the 8 series. They have some of the same styling cues on the front.

The wrap around corner lights, and the raised area in the center of the hood.

Me too.... I know it's funny and all but when people mistake my car for something else usually they're just trying to be friendly/make conversation/compliment it so there's no reason to get all butt-hurt about it or insulted. Not everyone is crazy about cars. I just politely let them know it's a Toyota Supra and keep on going about my business.

Now if they ask me why it doesn't look like the F&F car or if they can see the nawzz tank I get a bit upset =]

I think its funny when people are like what kinda car is that? I say "its a Supra"..right away they go "TURBO?!?!" then im like "no" then they all get this sad look on their face..but be polite and ask what year and i tell them "86.5" their faces are priceless at this comment and then there just like "Oh" and walk away.

this is why i have taken off all the badges off of my car when i go to school. I keep getting the funniest parking tickets and only 1 has ever been right.

Well, they both have the general wedge shape. And without the wing, the tail is the same basic shape as well. Trim aside, as the grill or small detail won't be the same, it is pretty close.

A bit of a tangent, but I was always amused at people that think the 4th Gen Camaro and NSX look a lot alike. The similarities are very small. The Camaro looked like a Geo Storm on steroids.

yah i always get 'what year' i say 87(its 86.5) but no knows the diff, and conversation is over. the day i agreed to by my supra, me and a buddy went out to kill the night and get the car the next day, go to a bar, me and this cutie bartender get talkin and i say supra she goes "is it a 94" i say 87, and needless to say i went home alone
