thats cool!

if i could get a dial face that looked stock but went to 14.7 or even that went to 22psi (1.5bar) would be awsome!

Yes it would.

In the late 80's, TRD sold a boost guage that read to 16 psi, in place of the stocker. I have never seen one, but would like to see it. I read about it in an old magazine.

Pi - thats pretty good, although calibrating it to 8 and 16 would require a different set of component values - its 14 at the top mark and 7 at the middle for a reason :)

Where'd you get the turbo symbol from?

I've got that font, i'll install it later on :)

BTW - Speedhut are considering making a set of RHD Black Faced EL Glow gauges - WOO!

I believe the turbo symbol came from the original work by pelleman.

I have been working on a new processor for the boost gauge. I've attached the original gauge circuit complete with the slow responding filter on the input. Once you understand the circuit it is pretty clear how to make it cover any range you want with a few modifications.

Hmmm.....I'm guessing the op amp isnt as simple as a 555? :p

I wouldn't say its much more complicated either.. That setup is what they call a voltage follower, its being a buffer between the two sides of the circuit.

Edit: referring to the first op amp.. didn't see the 2nd one until right now

Have you ever made this modified boost gauge face to sell and if so how much as I am completing the mods on an 89 MKIII and would prefer to use the stock gauge.

Thanks in advance.
