I went to one of the local performance shops this afternoon to shoot the breeze. I gave them a run down on what i had, and what i wanted to do.
Long story short to completely convert my car to turbo from n/a to turbo, install a full suspension setup, mhg, custom i/c pipes, and custom dp they were asking around 2500-3k. As of now they want me to write everything down and come back so they can verify my parts list.

If they do ALL of that (the right way) for that price, you will be walking away with a steal.

Parts will end up costing a lot more than that, so I say once you give them a list and they start really looking at the project, the price will go WAY up.

OH MY GOD.... 3k? at the TOP end of the estimate? hell...thats....a miniscule price.

would that be na-t or a full out swap? some engines can cost half that, and then you have labor, and the other parts your getting.....

I say you shoud do at least some of the work yourself like:
Suspension
Exhaust Manifold/turrbo/heat sheilds
Rear and front srut bars
IC and Ic pipes and BOV

Those things you can easily do your self and save you a shit load of $$$$$

Well that was the plan i was going to have a buddy do my clutch/ flywheel setup, and my suspension setup, but do to unforseen circumstances he wont be able to do it, and im not mechanical savy so i have to take it to the pros

its really not hard...just use the TSRM and us.
IMO if you have a supra you should have the knowledge of how to do things yourself....

Can't spend money on the pros when you can do it your self in an hour and save a lot of $$$ trust i know....

things always broke and always sent it to my mech....
i ended up doing shit my self saved my like a grand.

For the oil lines, that REALLY stumped me for the longest time! Go to MDC motorsports and order there NA-T PRO kit. Has everything you need in there!

Dont forget, i wouldn't run all that boost on stock hoses and gaskets. Figure in AT LEAST another 500 for new hoses, gaskets and O rings.

Well Pro-kit it is then :)

Good call on the hoses forgot about them, but the gaskets i was already considering "misc"

A tube or two of FIPG will take care of most of the gaskets. Also, keep in mind in all the *little* things that REALLY add up!

Like having your oil pan drilled, cut and welded! Cost me 35 bucks....

And all this little shit. I spent almost fuckin 200+ bucks in jsut SHIPPING some parts!
