So as I was working on the mkiii in the back yard this sumer fabing up a Holset, i noticed the rear wiper stopped working as i pulled her out for a test drive in the rain. The squirter works fine but just no power to the wiper motor.

does anyone have ideas or experience with this problem? Its not that big of a deal but its always nice to have everything in working order especially on the supra!

check for power at the wiring near the motor, then if you have it put the motor on direct 12v...I bet the motor is bad

Figured out the problem! after investigating under the hatch and wiggling and testing wires found out it was a little bit of rust or corrosion build up inside of the motor control box. Must have been a little water gotten in there as it sat in the back yard. So i took that box apart and cleaned all the connections and wam i got wipping power back again. Good feeling when things work out nicely.

my front quirters won't work but my rear ones do. :( don't know why. There is fluid in the reservoir and the lines are clear of debris
