I come from a land down under
No probs :)

Notice a total lack of front placebo bar??

Double a arm isn't trying to cope with turning loads like a McWobbly Strut front end so they're just not needed, the common bars have a pivot right at the force vector turning them into a big ass hinge so utterly useless.

We covered this in detail a few years back and there were pics and drawings posted, I invited people to provide some actual evidence that they do something but nothing ever came of it and as I wasn't prepared to spend the $ on strain gauges to do some real testing I let it drop.

how would the box move if you take the top side of the box (the strut bar) off?
not saying anybody is right or wrong but from my experience, when I took the front strut bar off, I did notice increased body roll.
maybe its cause the bar I have is just one solid non adjustable piece?

I did this test many years ago with just a depth gauge on a base plate with a linear bearing for the shaft to go through at one post and .250" shaft/rod end attached at the other post. Depth gauge was depressed at .250 to read both movements. I guess I can do that test again with my new Go-Pro :biglaugh:

I forgot to mentioned that I did a separate test also with aout the lower sub-frame strut bar.

losing the functionality of putting the seats down and putting large objects in the back...

i think you might need a pick up truck. Ive got a rear strut bar and i still manage to pack all my camping gear in the back with the seats down. Carefully placed is definatly key

K. That's my useful reply to your useful reply to a 5-month-old thread.

It's not like it's bad to have it on, it's just a waste of money. Since your car came with it, iunno I'd just leave it.
