I would deffinately be interested, get us a quote! They would sell quick, and CF to match my A pillars! I've got an idea though, say you make the hole 4" with enough space left to be cut out to 6.5", it would suit everyone from 4"-6.5" speakers...

this may be a dumb question, but if you want a 4" why not use the stock location?

I dunno, man... I don't want to spend $150 only to have to carve out the hole bigger and risk screwing it up. Would that be $150 shipped? Seems just a little steep otherwise.

It looks like it would be a better location, and making it 4" to make it usable for most speakers, I didn't completely think it out before I said it and I said it before I knew the price. Now that I've heard the price it is a risk, and probably a dumb idea not to just get 6" speakers.

Damn, I'm interested. A pair of component woofers would go so well in there. Get some better low end oomph without having to do a sub.

135 isn't too bad. I'll have to very seriously consider using some of my turbo funds...

i'm def interested, tho not 100% committed just yet. i always wait and think about it before i buy anything.

i figure worst case you can use a hole saw and mount a terminal cup.

I think you would get a lot more bass out of these if the rear was left open. You'll notice that lots of factory cars have a 6" speaker and use the entire door as the enclosure and put out lots of bass, because it resonates in the larger volume of the door. When I worked at a car audio store one of our demo boards had small wooden enclosures about the size of yours and we had a tough time selling speakers because they all had no bass in the little space.
