I've got one used with only one small 1 1/2 cut in it for $35 shipped.

I currently have one on the car. Its the original and it also has a small tear in it. The problem is that since its old it doesn't seal well anymore and I am getting water in the passenger side rear 1/4 panel and more annoying... the hatch squeaks like crazy when I am driving. Its extremely annoying. It really softened up over the years.
What condition is the weatherstrip you have? I am looking for something that is in excellent to mint condition.

Where do I get it for my 1987?? I can't find a single source online.
Incredible...

Have you checked with Jeff at Champion? They still list the weatherstriping for our Supra's at $54.20 though I suppose they might not be able to get them anymore.

I would go with new if I were you at that price. Mine is in pretty good used shape.

Also, the hatch leaks in several other places. The tail light gaskets is a common source, as well as bolt holes from your spoiler, the hole for the rear wiper motor, and the seal around the glass.

^^^^ What he said.

As long as you're working on hatch leaks you might as well go the whole route and replace all the likely culprits while you're at, save some time and hassle later having to eliminate one possibility at a time. And given the age of our Supra's the seals/weatherstriping all probably need replacing anyway if it's all original.

Yep... I did the tail lights, the spoiler and the wiper motor hole. I also greased up the 4 bumpers and the squeaking stopped for a week and came back. It came back because the weatherstrip is so warn out it puts too much pressure on the bumpers and the grease rubs off after a few days. The water is coming directly through the weatherstrip. I'll call Jeff tomorrow and hopefully I can order one.

I spoke to Jeff today and I ordered the new gasket and he recommended me to also get the 2 body bumpers (which actually cause all the squeaking). Nice guy and he had all the parts in stock. Thanks for the tip!!

One day I'm gonna actually call that number I keep posting. It was posted for me right after I ordered parts from my local dealer, so I try to be pre-emptive with it. I have never heard one bad word about Jeff Watson.

*****EDIT***** Oh, and do you mind letting us know what these parts cost you?
