I noticed that some people have been asking for hatch struts from cars that are being parted out, and wanted to let everyone know that you can get new replacement hatch struts at Advanced Auto Parts that fit and work perfectly. I paid about $56 for the pair. The only modification that I did was get some rubber washers from Lowes, trim them to fit in the rain canal, and put them on the bolts under the bracket to make sure that water didn’t leak in. The only bad part is removing all the panels in the hatch, the rear seats, the rear interior quarter panels, and the sail panels that go to the roof to get to the strut bolts:aigo:. This would also be a good time to replace the rear speakers if yours are blown like mine were.

Here’s the part number for the struts, and they have a lifetime warranty:icon_bigg:

Good Luck,
