i have a BMW M1 in the yard it had 6 pot front & 2 pot rear. I was going to try them out but my yard wanted 250 each caliper OUCH! When i sold 4 pot Mercedes AMG Calipers for 300 a set when they had them listed in there for 50 each!... got lucky.

As far as I know now, the calipers will bolt up, using the original Evo bolts, as the Supra brackets have no screw thread.
If you want to buy standard ones, the measures should be: 10.9 M10x1.5 and at least 36mm length.
One warning though. The bolt head size of the Supra bolt is 14, a standard bolt could easily be 17.
I did not use the Evo bolts, but could imagine that would be a 14 to, as you need more space if you wanna use a rattle to screw the lower bolt on.
A alternative to that would be to use an allen-screw.

(I know upside down, but this is just to show the fitment)

The (metric) measures for the WRX STi 2.5/2.0 '05- brake discs are:
35lx9i1.jpg

A Diameter: 316mm
B Thickness: 20mm (Minimally: 18mm)
D Offset: 68.5mm
E centre hole: 58mm
F studs: 5
PCD: 114.3

Just one drawback on the Lancer Evo calipers vs. the Z32/R32-33 calipers: The costs of overhaul kits is about three times as high....

@xzeror
I will take em to the machineshop as soon as they arrive (prob next week)
@Enraged
And what calipers would you mean? Evos?
I found these in the US, but bought mine in the UK.

lol, try this maybe: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=lancer+evo+caliper to search some more.
Z32/R32-33 will probably be cheaper, but you'll need a bracket for those. R33/34 GTR Brembos look very similar to the Evos tbh.

could one of you guys with the calipers do me a favor, and measure the hole spacing of where it mounts to the hub? looking for the center to center distance, in mm if you can.

if im going to get big brakes for the front, I want some 355mm rotors.

Really? Just "2" things to keep in mind:
1. Be sure to compare the surface area of those 355's to say the 324 ones.
2. Check if they stop you really better than say a Night Pager or ARZ kit, by comparing 70mph to 0 stop distances f.i.
3. 18" or larger would be the way to go then, so if you are not on those yet ----> $$$$$

Bigger is not the same as better.....especially for road use, but a bigger surface mostly means better heat dissipation.

* "The unique Formula One-inspired braking system allowed the Supra MKIV Turbo to record a 70 mph (113 km/h) -0 braking distance of 149 ft (45 m), the best braking performance of any production car tested in 1997 by Car and Driver magazine. This record was finally broken in 2004 by a Porsche Carrera GT, which does it in 101 ft (31 m)."
* Skyline R34 GT-R with the Brembo 4 pot front calipers and 2 pot rears has a 70 to 0 braking distance of 151 feet, according to this site:http://www.jbskyline.net/r34/gtr/index3.php

Total cost of my setup is (CAD):
Use EVO 9 2007 caliper (2): $250
Standard Raybestos 2005 WRX STI disc (2) : $140
Standard raybestos Mitsubichi EVO 9 brake pads (4) : $50
Bolt (4): $2.00
58 to 60mm bore machining (2) : $25
TOTAL : $467.00 tx and everything include ( no labor, i do it myself)

Here is some pics of my install + some tips :

Both MK3 and EVo bolt will not be correct to use. The evo bolt are not long enough. You need to buy 1/4-3/8 longer.
I use some 7mgte head bolt washer to space the caliper. They are perfect. So if you have some spare, go for it.
For the dust sheild, you only need to cut the 90 degre part of it (the lip). I apply paint where i cut to prevent rust.
I use the stainless brake line that come with my caliper, i think this is the stock one.
Oh, i did not mesure inside the disc for the hand brake, but it look like they are a little bit smaller. Reason is that my handbrake was in need of a little adjusting and now it is just perfect, 5-6 click make it perfect. So you may need a little adjusting depending of yours.

Sawblade fit (2-3mm space) But i will not run those anymore since i will be upgrading the front too. I test fit just for your info.

well done ^^^. I currently have my calipers at the brake shop being rebuilt. So the brake line that came with your caliper bolts straight up to the supra? Can you give me a total length required for the caliper bolts?

I have priced mine up and its going to be about 800 dollars but that is with DBA 4000 rotors and Ferodo or project Mu pads. Still a worthy upgrade IMO.

I picked up my rotors the other day, I went with powerslot, they were $197 Canadian with tax. I'm currently looking for calipers, may have found a brand new set.

Steven And I are gonna try and get a Front BBK that is in the same price range and uses "off-car" rotors and calipers from certain cars, with slight modifications. This is very interesting info!
