JJ is of course right. There is little point in taking it apart except to learn how it works. Fixing it, just like the $800 Volvo throttle modules that have the same problem, is hopeless.
Ugh. 200mm? Looks expensive. I once saw an operator drop an entire boat of finished VLSI 200s. Fwiw you're talking to one of the first 50 employees of Lam, an original service engineer who was later on the Rainbow design team. That was in the days before I became dumb enough to work on implanters. My time in the industry was good to me but if I ever see the inside of a hood again it'll be too soon. In fact I kept a bunny to use when working on cars and I go out of my way to make sure it's seen cleaner days as a form of revenge. Another benefit was a lifetime supply of gloves.
