Reading 0 oil pressure....

but still going after 1 year as a DD and racing almost everyday. Could it be that the sensor is bad?? Im getting a little nerveous(spell check).

You're getting nervous after a year? I think you should have gotten nervous when you first saw this. It's a little late now.

Does the needle move at all? Could be the gauge, could be the sending unit. I don't know how you check the sending unit, but someone on here will. GL

Could be that...or the sensor might not be making a good connection with the wire. The sensor is below the exhaust manifold on the block, just aft of the water pump housing....it's fairly big for a sensor...kinda dome shaped with the connector on top.

2nd your wiring
3rd sensor
and last would be your pump.

the sending unit is kind of a bitch to get too. also wheck the yellow and black wire that goes to it. it runs in a harness that runs right overtop of your t-stat. mine just got hot over time and got real brittle and broke.

if it hasnt siezed by now then you have some kind of pressure. but get that gauge working so you can know if its good pressure or bad. oil pressure=VERY important.

btw, take the oil cap off before you try to fill it. you may have a mess otherwise

I know the oils good, just did an oil change. Ill check the wires and the sending units today.

Mabey you have a limited production 2 stroke supra. Just add oil to the gas and go.

If after a year with no explosion I would say its something simple.

Yep thats what it was, the connection to the sending unit is bad. Thanks for the help guys.
